Tips On Choosing a Coffee Maker for the Perfect Cup of Coffee

When it comes to choosing a coffee brewing machine you have a variety of choices. You might want to purchase a Single Serve Coffee Makers so you can just brew one cup of gourmet coffee at a time. For single serve you can also brew coffee K-Cups or the innovative T-Discs, both of which are efficient and easy ways to produce fine specialty coffees.

Perhaps you want the fine presentation of a French Press for your after dinner coffee. The French Press method is known for producing a coffee with a full body that still has many of the coffee's essential oils and finer tastes and aromatic qualities that would be removed if was put through a paper filter.

If you don't like the mess of brewing, you may want to try Pod Coffee Makers which brews a fresh-sealed coffee pod that has been pre-packaged and comes in a variety of world coffees from Tanzania Peaberry to Jamaica Blue Mountain.

If you purchase a standard automatic drip coffee maker you can enjoy any type of coffee you choose and have a fresh pot of coffee waiting for you in the morning.

When all is said and done, if you want the best qualities of the coffee to shine through the use a French Press, a method in which the spent coffee grounds are separated from the coffee by pushing down a mesh plunger to the bottom of the French Press coffee pot.

Try a variety of different premium gourmet coffee, and adjust your brewing techniques to optimize all of the coffee's finest qualities  including the  body, aroma, acidity, sweetness/bitterness, and finish/aftertaste.

Sample a variety of different coffee types, from Organic Coffees to Fair Trade Coffees, Bird Friendly Coffees, and Shade-Grown Coffees. You can also use the French Press for decaffeinated coffee.

Of course if you don't want to be bothered with brewing there are also some fine instant coffees now available, and some people even prefer the taste of instant coffee. Most instant coffees are made using Robusta coffee while most world gourmet coffees come from the Arabica coffee plant varietals.

Whatever coffee brewing method you choose, make sure to use only freshly roasted coffee and also make sure the coffee has been stored properly.
